In Western Europe, we are working to making our presentations of the gospel creative and relevant in a post-Christian environment. We partner with existing churches in collaborative church planting; also, in locations where churches do not have a strong evangelical thrust, we are committed to respectfully partnering to establish new churches.
In Eastern Europe, we work in the post-Communist environment to bridge the older “planned economy” infrastructure with newer infrastructures for job creation. We seek to demonstrate Christ's love by meeting needs; this expression also allows us to sensitively plant churches. We have an unusual opportunity to witness to the transforming work of Jesus Christ rather than to the materialism and humanism of the West but that window of opportunity is closing fast.
