Teach in isolated rural or island schools near Puerto Montt. The school year runs from March through December. Intermediate Spanish ability is required. Also possible to teach English to professionals to build relationships and for simple church networking.
Serve as a teacher at a private K–8 school that is a missional presence in a small town. Possible subjects include English, music, computer, math, and physical education. Get involved in a local fellowship. Prior teaching experience in a school environment or a degree in education strongly desired.
Serve as a teacher at an international mission school. Possible subjects include (but are not limited to) Old/New Testament, missions, theology, church history, and Master of Divinity classes. Be involved in the spiritual and character formation of students through mentoring relationships. Resource workers on the field. Partner with and support the local church in a pastoral leadership role.
Serve as a teacher at a school for American, Korean, and European missionary children. Invest in their lives by educating and mentoring them. Learn the language and engage in the local community, sharing your faith with nominally Muslim locals and encouraging the young local community of believers.
