Fun with a purpose: The EMMazing Race! What has hidden clues, fast-paced competition, a picnic, prizes, and crazy costumes plus a Godly and philanthropic purpose? The EMMazing Race! The first-ever EMMazing Race was held Saturday, April 14, 2014. Seven teams gathered at Eastern Mennonite Missions' headquarters in Salunga, Pennsylvania, to raise money for EMM projects and compete in various challenges across Lancaster County.

Russian video seminary addresses religious pluralism

KURSK, Russia -- Trinity Video Seminary (TVS) in Kursk, Russia, recorded a new video course taught by David Shenk in March. “What Difference Does Jesus Make in a World of Many Religions?” will be made available in several languages through the internet.

It's hard to believe I was with EMM in Halle, Germany, five years ago as a mission intern. I have many fond memories of my time there.

SAN JUAN CHAMELCO, Guatemala – Eighteen U.S. Mennonites visited with members of the K'ekchi' Mennonite Church as part of a learning and service trip to Guatemala led by former Eastern Mennonite Missions' workers Larry and Helen Lehman February 26 through March 8, 2014. Travelers from Franklin Mennonite Conference in Pennsylvania were joined by participants from Juniata, Lancaster, and Mechanicsburg, Pa., as well as from Washington, D.C.

NAIROBI, Kenya – When long-term missionary Aram DiGennaro and his family arrived in East Africa in 2008, Eastern Mennonite Mission’s long-term work in the region was considered a success by many. Over several decades, EMM had started churches where there were none, built schools, managed hospitals, and launched a Bible college in Tanzania. Sizable Mennonite churches in Tanzania, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Uganda included half a million followers of Jesus.
