We envision equipping, empowering, and engaging a new generation of mission workers by linking young adults with a mission vision to mission workers with a multiplication vision.

Mission interns develop knowledge, values, and skills through ministry roles, personal mentoring, guided reading, and reflective writing. They are placed alongside missionaries for one-year assignments. "My desire for mission internships is to give committed young adults opportunities for personal development while testing long-term callings to cross-cultural missions," says Dave Harnish, DM associate director for internships. "My role is to give thoughtful direction to young people who have some discipleship training experience and a sense of call, but are unsure of where to go next."

Prerequisite: experience in a discipleship training/cross-cultural outreach (e.g. YES/STAT).
