Brian Martin

Chair

Served on a GO! team to India and Nepal in 2005. Has served on the board since September 2013 and became the chair of the board in March 2014. Serves as Pastor at Weaverland Mennonite Church (Lancaster Mennonite Conference) in East Earl, Pa.

Courageous faith and a Spirit-filled vision became key ingredients in birthing EMM over a century ago. While our world has changed greatly, I joyfully observe faith and a Spirit-filled vision propelling EMM forward in the missional mandate of our Lord for this generation."

Kenneth Sensenig

Vice chair

Has served on the board since 2004. Serves as the Assistant Executive Director of Mennonite Central Committee East Coast and attends both Red Run Mennonite Church in Denver, Pa., and Habecker Mennonite Church (Lancaster Mennonite Conference) in Lancaster, Pa.

Cedric Roth

Secretary

Has served on the board since 2010. Serves as the Youth and Young Adult Minister for Franklin Mennonite Conference and attends Marion Mennonite Church (Franklin Mennonite Conference) in Chambersburg, Pa.

Kent Hartzler

Treasurer

Served as co-leader of Mexico STAT (Summer Training and Action Team) in 1994; served on a Jamaica YES team in 1993. Has served on the board since 2012. Serves as President and CEO of the Everence Federal Credit Union and attends Mountville Mennonite Church (Lancaster Mennonite Conference) in Mountville, Pa.

Lawrence Brenneman

Spent two years of voluntary service in eastern Kentucky with Mennonite Mission Network; served six years as missions and service chair and four years as missional leader for Allegheny Mennonite Conference. Has gained additional understanding through visiting missions in the Middle East, East Asia, and throughout the United States. He attends Pinto Mennonite Church (Lancaster Mennonite Conference) in Cumberland, Md.

David Gingrich

Has served on the board since 1999. Attends Delaware Mennonite Church (Lancaster Mennonite Conference) in Thompsontown, Pa.

Stanley Green

Has partnered with EMM as a sister mission agency for 12 years. Has served on the board since 2012. Serves as the Executive Director of Mennonite Mission Network and attends Waterford Mennonite Church (Indiana Michigan Mennonite Conference) in Goshen, Indiana.

Akeia Haddox-Rossiter

Served as Missionary Support Team leader 2012–2013. Outreach Coordinator for Capital Christian Fellowship, working with food pantry, D.C. homeless ministry, and special events. Also serves as Assistant Worship Leader. Currently enrolled in STEP program at Eastern Mennonite University.

Larry Lehman

Served in Guatemala with EMM for 17 years. Has served on the board since 2001. Serves as the Administrative Secretary of the Franklin Mennonite Conference Mission Board and attends Chambersburg Mennonite Church (Conservative Mennonite Conference) in Chambersburg, Pa.

“EMM is effectively taking the gospel to the parts of the world where it is least heard. I believe EMM uses its resources wisely and I am happy to help with the work of this mission agency.”

Tuyen Nguyen

Served with EMM in England for four years. Has served on the board since 2014. Works as a research fellow for Ashland Company and serves as a bishop in Lancaster Mennonite Conference. Attends the Vietnamese Mennonite Church and the Church for the Needy (Lancaster Mennonite Conference), both in Philadelphia, Pa.

“I have been working closely with EMM in various capacities since 1986. I hope to learn from and contribute to EMM’s mission endeavors in the world.”

Sheila Nolt

Served with Rosedale Mennonite Missions in Ecuador from 2001-2006, helping to start a church, working with street children, and teaching missionary children. Has served on the board since January 2015. Lives in the city of Reading, Pa., and teaches kindergarten in the inner city. Attends Shiloh Mennonite Church (Lancaster Mennonite Conference) in Reading, Pa.

Keith Weaver

Ex-officio member

Has served on the board since 1988. Serves as Moderator for Lancaster Mennonite Conference and attends Blainsport Mennonite Church (Lancaster Mennonite Conference) in Reinholds, Pa.

Janet Weber

Served with EMM on a two-year Voluntary service (VS) assignment from 1965-1967. Employed as an administrative assistant at Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) for 12 years. Started serving on the board in 2016. Retired church administrator for Akron Mennonite Church in Akron, Pa. Attends Akron Mennonite Church (Atlantic Coast Conference).

“While employed with MCC, I worked with the MCC US Service Program, placing folks within the U.S. with two- to three-year commitments. I believe doing a service assignment is a great way to learn much about yourself, as well as learning a new culture and meeting new people who can enrich your life.”
