MUSOMA, Tanzania — Shouting, singing, and celebration resounded throughout the village. Water came flowing into tanks from Lake Victoria, which is just to the north of the Mennonite Theological College of East Africa (MTCEA). Acting Principal John Wambura recalled people in the village declaring, “God is back in Nyabange Mission.”
One night, as Pedro and Rolando were visiting with Ben, they boldly shared their faith in Christ and encouraged him to make a decision to follow Christ. That night he accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior by saying a simple prayer!

Kandace Glenn has served on two assignments as an EMM mission intern in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, over the last two and a half years. She never would have guessed that God would have kept her in Cambodia for as long as He has. And now, she is preparing to go back to Cambodia as a long-term missionary with EMM.

HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam — A father and his young child sat together in a quiet and removed location. While other conference attendees enjoyed their lunches, the father worked to lull his irascible child to sleep.
This long-term assignment is available August 2019. Every EMM worker's primary focus is to make disciples of Jesus. Using the EMM mission, core values, and guidelines for ministry practice as a guide, develop and shape the overarching goals and strategies for EMM in East Africa. Supervise all personnel who live within the region, seeking to empower and release gifts, and encouraging mutual accountability. Maintain relationships with national partners and network connections in the region, overseeing any funding and resources provided to their programs. Oversee the EMM-related organization Mennonite Board in Eastern Africa (MBEA) and related institutions: Amani Gardens Inn (AGI), SkyView Gardens (SVG) development, and Rosslyn Academy (RA). Applications will be received for individuals and for couples. Applicants must be willing to live in Nairobi, Kenya.
