Bobby and Amanda serve in Honduras with their two children. They work with children and youth within existing and developing programs of the local church. They also work with young adults who are transitioning to independence after being raised in an orphanage setting.
Tim and Julie serve in Belize with their three children. They support the local outreach of the Garifuna churches in southern Belize — helping to envision and develop new ministries, mentoring leaders, and walking with an emerging youth movement. They are building relationships with the leaders of the broader Christian community in Dangriga to determine what supportive ministries are needed.
Galen and Phyllis have served many years in Central America, including over 20 years among the K'ekchi' people of Guatemala and, more recently, among the Garifuna people in Belize. They now serve as volunteer coaches and mentors for local church leaders, as well as for other EMM workers in Central America.
Nathanael and Spring serve in Belize with their four children. Nathanael pastors at Jesus' Deaf Church in Orange Walk, while Spring practices her midwife and nursing skills, when possible. Together they walk alongside church and community members in friendship and mentoring relationships.
Wendell and Melanie serve in Honduras with their four children. They are regional representatives for Central America, overseeing all of EMM's programs and personnel in the region. Wendell serves as the elementary school principal at Academia Los Pinares, a bilingual Christian school. In this role, he actively works to make disciples through his relationships at the school. Melanie runs the Global Disciples small business training among local people, as well as teaching others to administer the training. She also explores other opportunities for mobilizing Hondurans for mission, and seeks to develop discipling relationships within her community.
