SUMMARY:Business leaders' breakfast: Building eternal impact through your business
DESCRIPTION:Christian business leaders face numerous challenges\, including how to effectively reflect their faith in their work while meeting the demands of their company. \nIt’s easy to get caught up in day-to-day pressures and lose sight of the deeper mission we’re called to fulfill. Even for leaders who actively cultivate faith at work\, it’s easy to get distracted and drift over time. During this interactive session\, Becca Spradlin will share case studies and best practices of Faith Forward businesses that cultivate faith at work\, along with cautionary stories of organizations that have drifted from their higher purpose. Participants will walk away with practical next steps to guide how they can define\, protect\, and champion their company’s higher purpose. Free copies of Spradlin’s book\, Lead On Mission. Advance Faith at Work. Avoid Mission Drift. Build a Legacy of Eternal Impact\, will be available during the event\, courtesy of North Group Consultants. A free hot breakfast and nearby parking are provided. Register by September 12. \nBecca Spradlin founded On Mission Advisors to help Christian business and nonprofit leaders define\, protect\, and champion what matters most while avoiding mission drift. The firm offers services including strategic planning\, governance\, and team performance enhancement\, all aimed at aligning organizations with their core values. With over 15 years of experience in international economic development and leadership roles at HOPE International and MicroRate\, Becca specializes in executive facilitation and change management. She holds a master’s degree in applied economics from Johns Hopkins University and is certified in change management and human-centered design. As the author of “Lead On Mission” and coauthor of the “Mission True Workbook\,” she has conducted research on faith cultivation in business as a fellow at Seattle Pacific University. Becca resides in Lancaster\, Pennsylvania\, with her husband and three daughters. \nThere is limited parking at Hub 450. You are welcome to use nearby street parking on Prince Street\, Lemon Street\, or James Street\, which is limited to 2 hours and generally free or at least until 8:00 a.m. (please check the signs). Parking is also available at the Queen Street Garage (424 N Queen Street). Vouchers are available at the breakfast for those who park at the Queen Street Garage. You will need to get a ticket when you enter the garage\, and then you can use the voucher to pay when you exit the garage.
