We focus on making disciples, who make disciples, to form vibrant and multiplying communities of worship and mission among various people groups in Southeast Asia. We use business and teaching as an entry platform in some of the sensitive locations in our region.

- Work with LEC leadership and other long-term workers to determine a good place to plug in, taking into account the current opportunities and needs of the LEC family, as well as the skills and needs of the worker and/or the worker’s family.
- Work with the local leadership to serve in the growth and nurture of the church in that district.
Life Enrichment Church (LEC) is a network of house churches in a sprawling rural area that includes Det Udom, in which Christians represent less than 0.2% of the population. Following initial language study, the church developer will most likely relocate to another district of LEC. Living conditions will most likely be those of a “district town” - not a village or a city - but will include travel to both rural villages and larger cities. Provincial capitals are where a wider range of goods and services are available (including expat imports, airport, train station, hospital, etc.). The weather is hot year-round. Living spaces have less distinction between “inside” and “outside” than in Western culture.
Supervisors and colleagues
This person will work with leaders and lay people in the Life Enrichment Church, including EMM workers Mark and Sarah, and Issan leader Pastor Joi. Regular check-ins will be coordinated with the EMM regional representative for Southeast Asia.

Applicants should be adventurous and excited about new things, with a willingness to consider living in a rural location. They should be willing to grow in patience and flexibility, and must be teachable as they learn from Thai Issan brothers and sisters. At least one year of cross-cultural experience is preferred.
