A business for transformation project in Asia experienced a 307% increase in sales in 2014! The business manufactures water filters that give villagers access to clean water. The explosion in sales caused great excitement for the EMM team serving within the business.

EMM workers Timothy and Madison* explain the excitement: "After four years of operation, our Director of Sales believes that our core objectives for integrated, bi-vocational mobilization are finally within reach."

New sales and marketing techniques developed over the past two years have enabled local believers employed by the business to spend three to five days a month selling water filters and four to five days a month in collections. At maximum capacity, these sales generate about 525 units to collect on per month, enabling these local teammates to earn about $240 a month in take-home pay (nearly double the average local wage).

The light work load and ample income mean that local teammates have hours each day to visit families – sharing the good news of Jesus, discipling believers, and helping churches to form. New teams can now be formed and trained for long-term ministry. Reaching the darkest places and provinces in the country that are unreachable through other models is now a potential reality.
