DESCRIPTION:Every business owner eventually starts to contemplate the future and what will become of their hard work. It is never too early to anticipate and plan for a leadership transition. \nCome and enjoy a free hearty breakfast\, along with input from experienced consultants who routinely help business leaders and owners navigate the dynamics of a generational leadership transition. \nThis seminar will provide business leaders and owners with: \n\na thorough understanding of the important family and business dynamics that are critical in facilitating a healthy leadership transition.\nperspective that can help demystify the process of an upcoming leadership and/or ownership transition.\npractical advice to take the first steps in the transition planning process.\n\nIf you attended a previous seminar on this topic\, please come again to learn more and hear a first-hand account of a successful transition from two generations of owners of Risser’s Poultry. \nLeron Lehman is passionate about learning new things\, having an impact on his community\, and building strong relationships. He brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in operations and finance roles with professional service firms and start-ups in the technology and non-profit sectors\, including as a practicing CPA. He graduated from Messiah University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. \nAs a Partner at North Group\, Brian Black brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from his background in organizational leadership and the practice of law. His focus throughout his career on business succession planning and estate planning has created a unique platform for serving family business owners and leaders as they plan and execute pivotal ownership and leadership transitions. \nFirst-time attendees are very welcome. You are welcome to use nearby street parking on Prince Street\, Lemon Street\, or James Street\, which is limited to 2 hours and generally free or at least until 8:00 a.m. (please check the signs). Parking is also available at the Queen Street Garage (424 N Queen Street). Vouchers are available at the breakfast for those who park at the Queen Street Garage. You will need to get a ticket when you enter the garage\, and then you can use the voucher to pay when you exit the garage.
