Worker training

Launch is a training process developed by EMM that helps you learn how to be a disciple who makes disciples. The course relies heavily on mentoring, group interaction, and hands-on learning. Launch is required for all new EMM workers and interns, but is also open to others who may be interested.

This annual week-long summer retreat for new mission interns and long-term workers, as well as long-term workers returning to the field after a home leave, features speakers, fellowship, and relaxation in a camp setting. The 2018 retreat will be held at Black Rock Retreat in Quarryville, Pa., from July 8–13.

Every August, re-entry retreats help returning missionaries and their children transition to North America by providing time to reflect on their service and mission experiences, and to consider the new directions their lives will be taking. Other Anabaptist mission agencies help to plan and send workers to this retreat. The 2018 Re-entry retreat will be held August 2–5.
